It’s been a long time coming and finally, we’re as pleased as we can be to launch our brand new Gang of Pour Blogs. It’s a move we’ve been wanting to make for a while, and now the time is right.

We feel that the advantages of moving from a static html site to the blog format are obvious. It’s a much more immediate vehicle for our reporting. We can taste a wine or attend an event and simply log on, type our tale, format and post. The blog also makes it much easier than before for the reader to post comments and give feedback; again, it’s all about immediacy.

Each of our contributors has his or her own section of the blog, complete with biographical information and an index of previous reports.  At some point in the near future, blogs.gangofpour.com will be our main site and gangofpour.com will serve largely as our archives. Of course, we may still publish new offerings on the old site from time to time, but the blogs will be where the vast bulk of our action will take place.

We hope you like the new Gang of Pour and that you’ll take the time to give us any feedback you have using either the comments box at the bottom of this post or via the contact tab under the header logo at the top of the page. Keep in mind that this is a work in progress, one that we’ll be trying out different things with as we continue to explore the considerable resources and capabilities that the software has to offer.
